Melinda S. Jacobs, M.A. is an entrepreneur and user
experience expert specializing in changing behaviour through play and games.
She is a co-founder and CEO of her startup in stealth-mode launching beginning
of 2018. Together with her awesome team she combines gamification and
artificial intelligence to establish a new way of working within a customer
service department. Through Subatomic she has consulted corporates and startups
on how to create playful experiences that creates engagement and change. In her
free time she is an avid reader, beer brewer, and N7 paragon.

Vitalii Moroz
Head of New Media
Department
Vitalii Moroz
works as a Head of New Media at Internews Ukraine, one of the leading media NGO
in Ukraine. Previously, he worked as a Program manager at Freedom House, Kyiv
office, where he managed election monitoring, voter education and watchdog
programs.
In Ukraine Vitaliy
is responsible for a strategy planning and implementation of new technology and
media projects at Internews Ukraine. Today he oversees projects aimed to
promote digital literacy, fact-checking, cyber security, Internet
freedom&digital rights.
Vitalii is a
Fulbright Program alumni, in 2012-2014 he had studied multimedia journalism at
Emerson College in Boston. He defended his Master’s thesis on the social media
impact on the anti-government protests in Ukraine. He also has BA and MA in
political science from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. His professional interests target
digital communication, social media, cyber security and civic activism.

Masha Fronoschuk
Platfor.ma is an independent Ukrainian creative lab & media about innovations and culture serving creative community & trendsetters. Media was founded in 2011 and achieved break-even point without any support from external investors thanks to creating a diversified business model.

Yuliana Romanyshyn
Has
been working as a staff writer for English-language newspaper Kyiv Post for 3 years. Her beat is in data and
business reporting. In 2017, she won Alfred Friendly Press Partners fellowship
for journalists and spent six months in the U.S. She split her fellowship as a
data and tech reporter in a small midwest newspaper Columbia Missourian and
Chicago Tribune. Before, she also took an internship with data visualization
department at SPIEGEL ONLINE in Germany.
She
majored in Eastern Asian studies from Ivan Franko National University in Lviv.
Daryna Danylenko
Head of PR Opendatabot
Journalist, media
specialist, civic activist.
She holds masters
degree in Journalism from T.Shevchenko Kyiv National University. She wrote
diploma «Storytelling archetypes in modern media».
Daryna worked as a
freelance journalist for online sites Colta.ru, Bg.ru, Elle, Gloss.ua. In 2016
Daryna founded «Datification» online magazine about big data and artificial
intelligence.
Nowadays Daryna is
responsible for communication strategy at OpenDataBot project, that aims at
opening government data in Ukraine. Daryna is fond of medicine, she writes
articles that simply explain difficult medical issues.
